I am an apprentice Web Developer, with a background in Digital Art and Computer Animation.
Having studied Fine Art to degree level in Leeds, my work had begun to take a turn into the world of computers, and by the time I finished my degree I think the tutors were starting to struggle to work out how to “read” the images I was creating, as it was a fairly alien medium for them. I then took the decision to switch up the environment I was working in by continuing my studies, but this time I would focus on Computer Animation for my postgraduate diploma.
For several years I worked in a variety of industries unrelated to these passions: hospitality; administration; retail; revenue protection. However, I have now taken the leap into professional digital creativity and spend my days working on designing and building websites for a variety of clients from all walks of life. And I love it!
In between web development work, I still follow the drive to create for its own sake, indulging in 3D modelling, animation, a little photography and some intrepid steps into the world of bonsai.
