It’s not often I work in 3D outside of Blender, but I wanted to try my hand at ZBrush.
I decided to model a snail, as it would combine sculpting in both fleshy, organic materials and hard surfaces. Also, I was keeping giant African land snails at the time and had plenty to study while I worked.
Honestly, there are too many whorls in the shell, and the lighting is pretty “off” so the photo-realism is fairly lacking. But as a first attempt at ZBrush, I think I did okay.
